POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY

Prosper with positive psychology.

Why positive psychology?

Positive psychology is the science of optimal human flourishing. This means creating the conditions for us to do our best work – through elevating our wellbeing.

By leveraging on positive psychology concepts like flow, strengths, high-quality connections, purpose, and accomplishments, you’ll see dividends in the form of greater engagement, better communication, and of course, higher productivity.

Why productivity?

We all want to do more. But that doesn’t just mean fulfilling KPIs and earning more money.

It also means doing more of what we love – be it spending time with the people we care about, having more time for easeful and joyful activities, and doing meaningful projects that align with our values.

Doing more also means understanding the full cost of our actions – and ensuring that our productivity is positive productivity.

Does positive psychology work?

It is an evidence-based field with copious research papers on the efficacy of elevating our wellbeing. More importantly, it is applicable in a wide variety of contexts such as for schools, the workplace, and coaching.

The basic tenet of positive psychology is that when you are at your best, you can do your best. Since the dawn of time, humans have known that to be true – and deep down, you believe it too.

Why positive productivity?

Output = Effort ÷ Time is a false equation.

Output = (Resources + Intangible Costs÷ Time is the true equation.

Effort is a resource – but once it is depleted, we draw on other intangible costs, such as our health, relationships, or mood to fuel the output. But this is inefficient and harms us.

Positive productivity is about being efficient without harming ourselves – and doing more in a way that fulfills all of us.
